NCM's 'Ghost Rider Spirit of Vengeance' Behind-the-Scenes Featurette
"We just shot one of the most badass things ever shot." You've got to see this! This is the behind-the-scenes featurette (recut from a version they showed at Comic-Con last year) debuted by NCM's First Look (via Latino-Review) is the one that shows you just how crazy co-directors Mark Neveldine and Brian Taylor are. I love all the arrows for the "director" showing you where they are and how they got some of these crazy shots. The way they shot this is exactly why I'm still excited as hell to see it. Nicolas Cage returns as Ghost Rider, along with Idris Elba, Violante Placido and Johnny Whitworth. Fire up this new video below!
Watch the featurette for Neveldine/Taylor's Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance, from Yahoo:
As seen in the first official trailer for Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance, Nicolas Cage returns, with Idris Elba, Ciarán Hinds as the Devil, and Johnny Whitworth as Blackout. "This version, we wanted to give people what we think comic book fans really want to see with Ghost Rider. It is darker and more intense. He is from a nightmare. He will scare the hell out of you," director Brian Taylor has said. The story was conceived by David S. Goyer, with a screenplay by Scott M. Gimple & Seth Hoffman. Columbia is opening Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance in theaters in 3D starting on February 17th this winter. Looks badass!

Looks like they had a lot of fun shooting it. Actually looking forward to the result. Whoever thought people would say "looking forward" when talking about a Ghost Rider sequel some years ago? In fact, whoever thought about "Ghost Rider sequel"? 🙂

these guys have now inspired me to do that for my films, taking control of the camera so that I get the shot I want

I'm still extremely skeptical about this film for obvious reasons (the first movie), but I now have a HUGE new found respect for these camera guys.

Why did Sony have to pull this down from R to PG-13?!?!?!?! :(...still, looks rather badass

I was really hoping they would hold out for an R rating. That would have been AWESOME.
