New 'Chinese Zodiac' Teaser with Jackie Chan in a Rollerblade Suit
Despite the rumors, Chinese Zodiac is not Jackie Chan's last movie. While promoting the film at Comic-Con this past summer, he confirmed that he was not retiring, and elaborated on this project that has been developing for years. Chan is writing, producing, choreographing, and even directing this one, so it's obviously a passion project (the actor even said he turned down a role in The Expendables 2, but chose to focus on this film instead). We've already seen an impressive full length trailer, but now an international teaser has come along focus on some amazing stunts with Chan in a rollerblade suit. Chan is a tour de force of real action, and while his movies may not be stellar, his stuntwork is truly mesmerizing. Watch below!
Here's the new teaser trailer for Jackie Chan's Chinese Zodiac, found via Twitch:
And as a bonus, here's a cool look behind-the-scenes at the above action sequence as well:
Chinese Zodiac, is written, produced and directed by Jackie Chan. The project was first announced years ago and is rumored to have a major fight scene that cost 70 million yuan, or more than $10M, to shoot. The plot involves a man searching the world for a set of mystic artifacts - 12 bronze heads of the animals from the Chinese zodiac. The film hits international screens later this year but has no US release date yet. Well?

That looks like fun, as long as you're always going down hill. Must be a bitch otherwise 🙂 10million? that probably would've cost 10 times that here.

That's probably why you can't see it then. It's not a YouTube video and there's two different players for each video that probably don't work on iPhone or iPad.

I like old Jackie, but he should retire and live out a decent life, movies aren't everything.

This will be a great movie, can tell he has put great effort for his last Jackie Chan epicness full of his epicness. He is one of the unique guys out there.

Looks fun, but not great. Perhaps if I can see it at an indie theater in NYC with a cold beer tho...
