"There's something you need to know about me. I came from the garden." Honestly, as strange and peculiar as the first trailer for The Odd Life of Timothy Green seemed, there's a certain kind of magic to a live-action Disney movie like this. Jennifer Garner and Joel Edgerton star in the film, along with C.J. Adams as Timothy Green, a kid that comes from a box buried in their backyard after their inability to have a child on their own leaves with only the dreams of what their offspring might be like. Now we have a new trailer for the film, and while it looks a little sappy, I definitely want to see it later this year. Watch below!
Here's the second trailer for Peter Hedges' The Odd Life of Timothy Green, originally via MSN:
An inspiring, magical story about a happily married couple who bury a box in their backyard, containing all of their wishes for an infant. Soon, their child is born, though Timothy Green is not all that he appears.
The Odd Life of Timothy Green is both written and directed by Oscar nominated America filmmaker Peter Hedges, of Pieces of April and Dan in Real Life previously, as well as screenwriting work on What's Eating Gilbert Grape and About a Boy. The story is credited to musician Ahmet Zappa. Disney just scheduled The Odd Life of Timothy Green for release on August 15th, 2012 next summer. Look like it will be any good?

He's dying by the end though, I can feel it. Did Jennifer Garner have her face re-made out of papier maché? What is up with that surgery puss?

Agreed on both accounts. Feels like a "Pay It Forward" ending coming this way.

Looks super sweet. Like diving head first into a pool of sugar. But it looks nice. I do like Joel Edgerton after seeing Warrior (holy SHIT was that a good movie), but Garner... meh.

It would've been better if the boy didn't know how to talk at first. It's too silly that the first thing he said "Hi, I'm Timothy". It would be more believable if he were more like "powder"

Some scenes questionable and others were great.

No. MSN isn't as bad as Yahoo, a Yahoo player tries to access your data on your computer 3 times, most do it once, but they are all dodgy.
