'Pacific Rim' Producer Gets Tom Cruise for 'Our Name is Adam' Sci-Fi
It sounds like Tom Cruise is addicted to sci-fi at the moment. Not only is Cruise filming Universal's big budget Oblivion for Tron Legacy director Joseph Kosinski and Warner Bros. All You Need is Kill for Doug Liman back to back, but he's just landed another out of this world project. Variety has word that Pacific Rim producer Mary Parent has just attached Cruise to Our Name is Adam, a sci-fi spec script from newcomer T.S. Nowlin. Unlike Cruise's other projects, since this is based on an original script, we don't have any idea of the plot. However, it does seem interesting that Cruise has been diving into so much sci-fi lately. Read on!
The last sci-fi film Cruise took on was War of the Worlds in 2005 and Minority Report a few years before that, so having him take on three projects like this so close to each other is exciting. However, Our Name is Adam could be one that doesn't come to fruition since he's only attached to it. Actors become attached to projects all the time to get the wheels moving at studios, and then they fall away from the project later. But it would be great to keep having Cruise stick with sci-fi action. Cruise will next be seen in Jack Reacher, and a new trailer is on the way today for the film hitting theaters on December 21st this year.
Oh please ENUFF. First they ruined Jack Reacher...........is there no project he does not grab?

Tom Cruise looks exactly the same in every movie. It seems he doesn't change of character.
