Plot Details Leaked for Andy & Lana Wachowski's 'Jupiter Ascending'?

Imagine a world in which human beings as we are now are only the first stage in the eventual evolution of humankind. Vulture has a source that claims this is the basis for Jupiter Ascending, the Wachowski siblings' newest sci-fi venture. On Earth, a young female Russian immigrant scrubs toilets for a living, unaware that humanity is being watched from afar by more evolved humans on distant planets. She's also unaware that she possesses the same perfect genetic makeup as the Queen of the Universe, threatening the Queen's immortal rule. When an assassin is sent to kill the girl, he ends up falling for her. More below!
That's not all, though. The more evolved humans in this film have been crossbred with various animals to heighten certain characteristics: soldiers getting strength and a pack mentality from wolves, workers gaining their work ethic from bees, etc. And when the assassin falls for the girl and decides to save her instead of kill her, the two must go on the run (naturally) as the Queen doesn't take kindly to betrayal. As previously reported, Mila Kunis and Channing Tatum are attached to play the girl and the assassin, respectively.
Vulture also mentions that Joseph Gordon-Levitt is about to be offered a role, though they don't know what part he would play. Alex, Ethan and myself are three of the five people on the planet who enjoyed Speed Racer, but Jupiter Ascending sounds like a totally badass return to the Wachowskis that everyone remembers from The Matrix. Hopefully they can continue pushing the boundaries of technology in new ways (remember bullet time?), and give us another modern sci-fi classic in the process.

It really seems so, but as always there are few original stories, the most important thing is how you redo them. Shakespeare based most of his plays in previous works, but he did it with huge talent...

Sweet Mention but " Matrix " had similar plot to " Dark City " too, But both stay on thier own feet. Speed Racer was cool but not Astonishing , Fascinating and Another Masterpiece as same as " Matrix " was

Its a been there done that...but what will they do with a story we have heard a thousand times before...I'm interested, the cast could be stronger but who knows there may be a surprise in Jupiter Ascending.

Yaaawn. Honestly, the Wachowski brothers should just stop. Speed Racer was atrocious. Absolutely terrible.

I also enjoyed Speed Racer and to this day think many other people would of too. But it was released at a bad time and too close to Iron Man, and that's why it was a bust. The movie itself was pretty good and that''s why I own it.

The world intrigues me, especially the cross-breeding part. I enjoyed Speed Racer a lot and I didn't even watch the cartoon. Wonder what kind of weapons they'll have.
