So far the hype for The Avengers is through the roof thanks to a combination of a plethora of posters, a fantastic second trailer, and a couple featurettes that make the movie look like it's going to blow audiences away. Now we have a new look at the sexier side of The Avengers, at least for the male audience, as E! Online has revealed a short featurette focusing on Black Widow, the S.H.I.E.L.D. agent brought to life by the blindingly beautiful Scarlett Johansson. Word on the street is that Black Widow is better than she's ever been on the big screen in this superhero ensemble and we'll find out if that's true in about two weeks.
Here's the new featurette on Black Widow for Joss Whedon's The Avengers, originally via E! Online:
When an unexpected enemy emerges that threatens global safety and security, Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson), director of the international peacekeeping agency known as S.H.I.E.L.D., finds himself in need of a team to pull the world back from the brink of disaster. The star studded cast includes Robert Downey Jr, Chris Hemsworth, Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner, Cobie Smulders, as well as Tom Hiddleston and Stellan Skarsgård who are reprising their respective roles from Thor. Marvel's The Avengers, directed by Joss Whedon (Serenity), hits theaters everywhere May 4th, 2012. You can watch the first trailer here, the Super Bowl spot here, or the newest theatrical trailer here.

Scarlett born superhero! Marvel honored that she play in that company! Without her avengers wood miss something. Black widow has style. I wish she play a lot much time in avengers. Avengers was Averagers without Scarlett

Yup. I hope their presence doesn't dilute the rest of the cast. Like having too many villains, you can have too many heroes.

You should be ashamed of yourself. Scarlett should sue every media organisation that used material hacked from her phone. Nothing much can be done about the scumbags who watched it however. Poor Scarlett. She's right to be paranoid after such a massive invasion of her privacy.
