The Man with the Iron Fists Red Band Trailer

"Some pleasure, before business?" Yes, ma'am! To cap off an otherwise mellow day with some kick ass kung fu action, Universal has unleashed this second red band trailer for RZA's marital arts directing debut The Man with the Iron Fists. This trailer follows up the first trailer we got in June for the RZA martial arts extravaganza. Not only does RZA star as "The Blacksmith", but he landed quite the cast: Russell Crowe, Cung Le, Lucy Liu, Jamie Chung, Rick Yune, David Bautista, with appearances from Grace Huang, Pam Grier, Gordon Liu and more. This looks like my kind of crazy kung fu action fun, excited to check it out!

Watch the second red band (NSFW) trailer for RZA's The Man with the Iron Fists, from Yahoo:

RZA's Man With the Iron Fists is to be a "bloody R rated martial arts extravaganza" that he developed after studying Quentin Tarantino for a few years. The film mixes kung fu with a spaghetti western mindset and a hip hop influence. The screenplay was written by Eli Roth and RZA. "I'm going to tell you that we put a lot of time into the script, a lot of energy into it, a lot of people were supporting me on it, and if the energy comes out right, it should be a classic film to have in your library," RZA stated. Universal funded and is releasing Man with the Iron Fists in limited theaters starting on November 2nd. Visit Who's down?!

beevis on Aug 17, 2012

I find your Wu-Tang sorely lacking... go and study my son... you will find enlightenment! Seriously, he's worth the effort to go and look him up.

Akirakorn on Aug 17, 2012

WHO is rza? google it man it ain't the 50's anymore

Hazedmind on Aug 17, 2012

REALLY, haze? thanks for that.....i've NEVER heard of google > S. sorry my comment went over your head - i'm SAYING rza is a nobody and his involvlement in this doesn't mean ANYTHING to me. btw - sorry to offend any rza fans - but that's what i think. i was trying to be less offensive until the the idiot hazemind had to use a comment that's been used way too much by too many.

beevis on Aug 18, 2012

Woah man sorry if I offended you, but seriously man google is key

Hazedmind on Aug 18, 2012

you didn't offend - it just left me wondering why anyone WOULDN'T know about google. i mean, we're all online to use sites like this - how would someone be online and NOT know about google? hope that clears it up.

Daniel Vu Tran on Aug 17, 2012

Looks pretty funny and over the top. Will watch.

Carpola on Aug 17, 2012

looks it will be fun to watch! But Russel Crow? Is he a friend of RZA?

Avi Smulders on Aug 17, 2012

RZA...Fuckin' sucks. This movie is just fucking retarded when you think about it..... why in the blue hell would they focus the movie on a guy with zero acting skills and/or charisma, when they have Batista who's a fucking golden Colossus?? He probably can't act, but he's the movie's ultimate badass, and don't anyone here try to argue that. Plus, the title is so typical, it's not even funny. And so far they copied X-men and Mortal Kombat with the Jax impersonation AND an uppercut head popping off finish him from the series. GOD I HATE COPY CATS

ERMAHGHERD! SHERT ERP! Why would they focus the film on RZA? The "they" that you are referring to IS Rza. I seriously doubt he made this film thinking in the back of his head that he was going to win an Academy Award. Copying X-Men and Mortal combat. A comic about super humans and a game about bloody martial arts violence.... yeah this is the first movie i have seen in a long time that has had those elements in it. If you think about it, this film is one of the few original films of the year. Meaning that it isnt adapted from a comic, show, video game, book, or older film. Go make a better kung fu film and until then silence yourself.

WuTang Clan ain't nuttin to fuck with. Rza was into kungfu flicks since he was a young man, before Mortal Kombat was even invented. Everything is copied, nothing is original. I'm sure you make original cutting edge movies all the time.

Carpola on Aug 19, 2012

Glad to see more positive feedback this time around. I think it looks really fun. I love that one line "You're business, this is pleasure". Cheesy, but appropriate for this movie I guess 🙂

Davide Coppola on Aug 18, 2012

Blacksmith is like Jax (Mortal Kombat), probably where they got the idea from.

MK_321 on Aug 18, 2012

So many people are commenting that this movie looks do realize...the Wu-Tang Clan...grew up watching dumb martial arts movies? Obviously this is going to be a homage to high minded Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon-esque movies....RIGHT....

Kyle A. Kiekintveld on Aug 18, 2012

we all grew up watching those movies.

Christopher Philip Cinquegrano on Aug 19, 2012

Who cares if Rza is in it! he is just one lucky fanboy who gets to live out his dream. I have faith in Tarantino and Roth.

Brigador Stamback on Aug 18, 2012

this must be a dream come true for Rza. I'm in!

Nick Sears on Aug 18, 2012

This looks fun. My kind of popcorn flick.

Stavi on Aug 18, 2012

Just watch Ninja Scrolls instead .. that's the inspriation for this movie

Jubei Ninpucho on Aug 19, 2012

looks very good from a modern eastern perspective, has it all in the trailer: badas fighting moves, badass visuals and humor in elmost every shot so go on hating people it is a movie so fuck reality

metalbadass80 on Aug 19, 2012

Straight to DVD , grew up on wu-tang dre etc but sooner or later you outgrow that shit. Look at all the shit Jay z and lil wayne coppied from Rob zombie. No creativity , especially the new shit , only music i listen to now is the old stuff that came out b4 i was born or rock an metal , maybe some 80's crap.

Christopher Philip Cinquegrano on Aug 19, 2012
