Hitchcock International Trailer

"Are you in? Or are you out?" Fox Searchlight is really pushing this one, but thankfully it's deserving of the push, as it looks damn good. Another new international trailer for Sacha Gervasi's Hitchcock, starring Sir Anthony Hopkins as legendary filmmaker Alfred Hitchcock, has recently debuted. We've already seen a couple of trailers, a featurette, and lots of footage from this other Hitchcock drama, but there's still more to discover. A few fascinating bits of extra footage featuring Scarlett Johansson as Janet Leigh, James D'Arcy as Anthony Perkins and of course Helen Mirren as Alma Reville make it look even better. Enjoy!

Watch the latest international trailer for Sacha Gervasi's Hitchcock, found on YouTube:

Sacha Gervasi (Anvil! The Story of Anvil) is directing Hitchcock, written by John McLaughlin (Black Swan) and based on the book Alfred Hitchcock and the Making of Psycho by Stephen Rebello. Anthony Hopkins plays director Alfred Hitchcock and is supported by a great cast including Helen Mirren, Scarlett Johansson, Danny Huston, Toni Collette, Jessica Biel, Michael Stuhlbarg, James D'Arcy and more. The film, a love story, takes place during the making of Hitchcock's seminal film Psycho. Fox Searchlight opens Hitchcock in limited theaters on November 23rd, Friday after Thanksgiving, the same week as Life of Pi, Red Dawn and People's Choice winner Silver Linings Playbook. Alfred Hitchcock is such a persona. Hopkins doesn't even try to sound like him... I don't know about this...

Class, wit, style, heart. Looks fantastic. The moron masses won't get it.

Saw it last night. It's ok. Toby Jones did a much better job playing Hitchcock than Hopkins

Hopkins, you suck!

poor toby jones, the same year he does a splendid job playing Capote, Seymour-Hoffman wins the Oscar for his portrayal. Now, the same thing with Hitch...Jones' Hitch seems more threatening and dark than Hopkins' take on the character, however. Here's hoping both great actors will get recognized for their work!
