Chris Miller & Phil Lord Interview

Following up the interview with 21 Jump Street co-stars Rob Riggle & Dave Franco is my interview with the co-directors, Chris Miller and Phil Lord, who last directed Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs before this, as well as the animated show "Clone High". This new 21 Jump Street is furiously funny (review here). While down at SXSW in Austin, we were lucky enough to pull some of the people behind and in front of the camera to talk about making this comedy. Check out what directing duo Chris and Phil had to say about taglines, a hypothetical situation where their film features the biggest movie star on the planet, and more.

Note: Occasional spoilers do come up at the end of the interview! You've been warned, but it's not bad.

Here's Jeremy's Flipcam interview with directors Chris Miller and Phil Lord of 21 Jump Street:

Yep, the guys who directed the cute, animated feature, Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs, are now filming Ice Cube berate Channing Tatum and Jonah Hill, and it's damn funny. These two are hilarious off screen and it definitely translates to the movie to, as it's hilarious. Don't let the fact that it's a feature film update of one of the first TV shows on Fox. That was back when Fox hardly had any money, and could only afford "up-and-coming" stars like Johnny Depp. But this newest 21 Jump Street is fantastic and definitely worth seeing with as many friends as you can find. Thank you Chris, Phil and everyone at Columbia. 21 Jump Street opens March 16th this weekend. Be sure to also watch my interview with Rob Riggle & Dave Franco.
