For those who went to go see The Dictator in theaters (honestly, it's a pretty solid comedy), this special treat has already tickled your funny bone, but now there are not one, but two teaser trailers for Anchorman: The Legend Continues, the sequel to the 2004 comedy Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy, are now online. Since the script is still being written, they were bioth shot specifically to get the hype machine started and it works perfectly, and one hasn't been seen in theaters at all. The Channel 4 News Team seems pretty comfortable, but Brick Tamland (Steve Carell) doesn't do well in the spotlight. Just watch below!
Here's the online excl. teaser for Adam McKay's Anchorman: The Legend Continues via Funny or Die:
And here's the original teaser trailer that played in theaters with The Dictator, found via The Film Stage:
Anchorman: The Legend Continues is written and directed by Adam McKay, the man behind the original 2004 comedy Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy and films like Step Brothers and Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby. The film reunites the Channel 4 News Team played by Will Ferrell, Paul Rudd, Steve Carell and David Koechner, and cast members like Vince Vaughn and Christina Applegate are expected to return. The script is still being written, but the film will see the dawn of the 24-hour news cycle and the addition of anchors of different races, all making for a tense workplace for the old crew. Excited?

I have not been able to see the first one in it`s entirety, the reason for that is... It`s one of the worst movies i`ve seen since meet the spartans and this looks even worse. But enjoy it those who want.

I'll probably regret replying to this, but.. how can you possibly say it's one of the worst movies when you haven't even finished it?

I`ve actualy tried a couple of times to watch it just could not do it. If you like it thats great, I would hate for others to waste their time multiple times watching things they hate. To me it was crap and I could not finish it but if you like it that is great for you.

I disagree, but its nice to see someone who voices their opinion without stepping on someone else's and talking shit.

Apparently you can't distinguish comedy genius (Anchorman) from lower quality than shit (Meet The Spartans)

Does anyone know the name of the song that plays at the end of the trailer? Not the begining. The begining is Sirius by APP, that I know.
