TGB Episode 105: We're All Locked Up (Guest: FSR's Kate Erbland)

April 19, 2012

The Golden Briefcase - Lockout

On this week's episode of The Golden Briefcase, Tim and Jeremy are joined by guest Kate Erbland of Film School Rejects and MSN Movies' The Hitlist to go over their latest Picks of the Week, talk through the new trailers for Oliver Stone's Savages and Rian Johnson's sci-fi Looper and much more. The main topic of the night was a discussion on prison films in honor of Luc Besson's sci-fi prison film Lockout with Guy Pearce arriving in theaters last weekend. The gang goes through some of the best uses of this plot device (and setting) and pontificate genres that haven't yet been put behind bars. Lock yourself up and listen in!

The Golden Briefcase is also broadcast LIVE on Wednesday nights starting ~7:30PM PST. You can listen in via our Ustream page or by visiting our own live page right here on FS. The podcast is just as fun to listen to live while it's being recorded, with plenty of special guests, so I suggest you tune in the next time it records!
