GOLDEN BRIEFCASE
TGB Episode 94: Facing Off Against Nature (Guest: FSR's Robert Fure)
by Tim Buel
January 27, 2012
On this week's episode of The Golden Briefcase, Tim & Jeremy are joined by Robert Fure from Film School Rejects to go through their Picks of the Week, the newest in DVD/Blu-ray releases, talk through the new trailers for Paul W.S. Anderson's latest Resident Evil: Retribution and Nicholas Cage's thriller Seeking Justice, plus talk over the Oscar nominations and much more. The main topic of the night was a discussion on man vs nature in honor of Joe Carnahan's The Grey coming out this weekend. The guys talk about some of their favorite killer nature elements in films and think up some crazy films of their own. Listen in!
The Golden Briefcase is also broadcast LIVE on Wednesday nights starting ~7:30PM PST. You can listen in via our Ustream page or by visiting our own live page right here on FS. The podcast is just as fun to listen to live while it's being recorded, with plenty of special guests, so I suggest you tune in the next time it records!

Awesome and very funny discussion! I've got to say, everytime I hear an episode like that I'm like: There's no way you can top that and then next week it's even better! It's just beyond words, at least what my restricted vocabulary is concerned. I'd so watch (and fund) your Asylum spoofs, by the way that was great 🙂 My favorite "man vs. nature" films would have to be Cabin Fever and Antichrist. Speaking of Von Trier he really got ripped off at the Oscars, probably because of his bad jokes at the Cannes film festival. Anyways, glad you guys feel the same about the Academy Awards. Someone needed to say that and you couldn't have said it better, so once again I have to tip my metaphorical hat to your awesomness!
