'The Canyons' with Lindsay Lohan Gets a 1950s Teaser Trailer Now

After seeing a landscape teaser trailer focused on Hollywood and a weird grindhouse style teaser for The Canyons from Taxi Driver director Paul Schrader and American Psycho writer Bret Easton Ellis, we thought a real teaser trailer might be in our future. However, now we're getting a 1950s style trailer for the drama following a group of young people in their 20′s and how one chance meeting connected to the past unravels all of their lives, resulting in deceit, paranoia, cruel mind games and ultimately violence. Porn star James Deen makes his feature film debut, and he looks to be pretty terrible, just like the sound in this trailer (which might have been done on purpose). We're really not sure what to think of this, but it's weird.
Here's the new trailer for Paul Schrader's The Canyons, found via The Film Stage:
It’s not The Hills, it's The Canyons. The film is a contemporary L.A. noir from director Paul Schrader (Taxi Driver), writer Bret Easton Ellis (The Informers, and novels for American Psycho and The Rules of Attraction), about the dangers of sexual obsession and ambition, both personally and professionally, among a group of young people in their 20′s and how one chance meeting connected to the past unravels all of their lives, resulting in deceit, paranoia, cruel mind games and ultimately violence. Lindsay Lohan and porn star James Deen star in the film which is expected to premiere sometime in 2013, but there's no official date yet.

wait a second - is LL supposed to be the "sensuous woman"????.....wow, is that a stretch. and since deen is in this, to keep the porn theme - the acting in this is WORSE than some porn films - and this doesn't even have the sex to distract from the horrible acting. a big pass for me.
