'The Dark Knight Rises' Midnight & Marathon Tickets On Sale Today!

The Fire Rises! Now that we've seen Prometheus and Avengers, what's the next biggest movie coming up on the summer schedule? Give or take Amazing Spider-Man, next is Chris Nolan's The Dark Knight Rises, arriving in theaters July 20th. That's only 39 days away, if you can believe it. A number of movie theaters, including AMC and those listed through Fandango, will begin selling midnight and marathon tickets for The Dark Knight Rises today. Specifically, those interested in midnight shows or AMC's marathon events, should aim to get their tickets when they go on sale at 12-Noon EDT (9AM PDT) today, Monday, June 11th.
For all the details, go to amctheatres.com/tdkr for theater info and to get tickets. They will be selling midnight tickets and $25 tickets for the three-movie marathon (Batman Begins, The Dark Knight, The Dark Knight Rises), which I am definitely going to, starting at 9AM PDT/12PM EDT today. A full theater listing has not been posted yet, but you can expect them to put up as many theaters as possible, even digital and non-IMAX. But as always, check your local listings. Fandango and MovieTickets.com don't have launch pages for TDKR yet, but I've been informed that at least Fandango will be selling tickets to showings starting today, June 11th. Search for your local theater and the evening of July 19th to find all available showtimes.
Let us know if you get your tickets to see a midnight/marathon showing of The Dark Knight Rises in July. It is no question my most anticipated movie left to see this summer, and I can't wait to experience the entire trilogy in IMAX, the way its meant to be seen. Especially the last hour or so that Chris Nolan shot of TDKR in IMAX. Batman to end the summer on a high note! But get your tickets now. We'll update this if we get more info on theater listings or other places hosting marathons/events surrounding The Dark Knight Rises.

Good luck trying to get through. Luckily I managed to get tickets for Saturday at 10am at CityWalk but fandango is having issues. Best part is tickets for the first IMAX showing of the day are 13 bucks!

Very very very frustrated and disappointed by the extremely unpleasant experience! Fandango was crashed, so was AMC, forcing 26 minutes of attempting to login to get tix. Never was able to get to the purchase page for the marathon or the midnight show. Finally ended up with IMAX at 3:40 am at AMC Universal Citywalk Stadium 19 for nearly $20 a ticket from Fandango on the 2374th try. Guess I should feel lucky I got anything, but not feeling great about the whole experience.
