Pixar's Brave Trailer

"If you had the chance to change your fate, would you?" Disney/Pixar has just unveiled the third official full-length trailer (via Apple) for Brave, Pixar's first fairytale, a Scottish adventure about a red-haired princess named Merida and her family, and three brothers. Kelly Macdonald voices Merida, Emma Thompson voices the Queen, and Billy Connolly the King. We've seen many trailers and footage for this already, and while I'm always going to go see every Pixar movie, it seems they've been hiding a lot of where the actual story goes in Brave, including something involving those bears. Looks like Pixar magic yet again!

Watch the third official trailer for Pixar's new fairytale Brave, in high def from Apple:

Since ancient times, stories of epic battles and mystical legends have been passed through the generations across the rugged and mysterious Highlands of Scotland. In Pixar's Brave, a new tale joins the lore when the courageous Merida (voice of Kelly Macdonald) confronts tradition, destiny and the fiercest of beasts.

Brave was originally being directed by Pixar's first female director, Brenda Chapman (of Prince of Egypt), but she was then joined by Mark Andrews (of the short One Man Band) who took over to help finish the movie. Disney has scheduled Pixar's Brave for release this summer starting June 22nd in 3D. Can't wait?

Saw this trailer when I saw Titanic. Unbelievable

Moviekid on Apr 24, 2012

So why was she joined my a male director? That would make an interesting article.

Pixar is another miracle after What disny was. Brave will be better than beaty & beast because pixar always beat Disney. But my compliment with pixar is this company make every year 1 Animation. I know the process is very very hard but pixar is very rich, they must deliver us 2film every year at least.I know they can: I Wana more Toy Story,Incredible Sequels and I Wana more original ideas from them. I think in pixar works always action is little(incredible is exeption) but I hope "BRAVE" had beautiful script same as always and a little more action at least.

Wow. Really?

without Disney, Pixar, HECK. ALL full length featured animated movies wouldn't be around OR respected as films. Most of the Pixar animators grew up with and were originally inspired by Disney, and I doubt they can beat disney when it comes to musicals or non computer animation. Hence forth, show some respect for Walt's legacy btw, Beauty and the Beast was made after Walt's death

While the change in director isn't a situation that fills me with confidence, I am basically sold off the strength of this trailer. Plus I am a total sucker for a gaelic ballad.

I saw this trailer at chimpanzee and honestly I liked it better on the computer!

Trust me I have hair just like this only blonde with brown every one says it's beautiful most of times it gets annoying

Missmadison Davenport on May 19, 2012

Indeed, her hair looks ravishing. As does the film. Pixar knock it out of the park again (we hope!)

When the trailers for Ratatouille came out, I thought I was gonna hate it, but I ended up loving it. That's why I'm hardly saying anything about this movie. I'm just not feeling anything with these trailers... but... who knows.

Lauren Intong on Apr 24, 2012

I'm right there with you, but I feel like that's almost Pixar's thing now. It's a trend with them. All of there trailers never impress me, I don't like any of them, they make the movies look meh. But then when you actually see them... Pixar WONDER all over again! I'm hoping that's the case here, it's actually wonderful, despite these "meh" trailers.
