Neighborhood Watch Teaser Trailer

"Listen to my words, and hear his face." 20th Century Fox has finally unveiled the first official teaser trailer for Akiva Schaffer's Neighborhood Watch, the upcoming summer sci-fi comedy starring Ben Stiller, Vince Vaughn, Richard Ayoade and Jonah Hill. The teaser was found on The Sun (via The Film Stage) and is just an intro to these four as the "Neighborhood Watch" dads, but looks hilarious already. There isn't any of that sci-fi plot yet, that they so blatantly put out in the teaser poster, but this still looks like a great comedy to wrap up the summer with, looking forward to seeing more from it. Check out the teaser below!

Here's the first teaser trailer for Akiva Schaffer's Neighborhood Watch, originally via The Sun/IMDb:

Neighborhood Watch, directed by SNL's Akiva Schaffer (Hot Rod), is about a group of suburban dads who form a neighborhood watch group to get time away from their families, only to discover a plot to destroy Earth. The screenplay was written by Seth Rogen & Evan Goldberg (Superbad, The Green Hornet) and is actually a sci-fi comedy, as the plot to destroy the world is an intergalactic plot involving these aliens or something. It also stars Billy Crudup, Will Forte, Nicholas Braun, Rosemarie DeWitt and Joe Nunez. 20th Century Fox is releasing Neighborhood Watch in theaters on July 27th this summer, right after TDKR hits.

I don't usually get amped up for anything Ben Stiller does anymore but, with Richard Ayoade (The IT Crowd) on the menu, I'm all in! Can't wait to see more

 My thoughts exactly.

Thexn on Feb 29, 2012

pretty funny. Don't know what to expect though. Could be a bunch of stars trying to be funny with a few side character nobodies who actually are funny with not enough screen time for five years until they are stars who aren't funny any longer.

I don't even watch the IT crowd, but I love Ayoade! It doesn't make sense to me either! And this was filmed around where I live, I believe, so I must watch it.

Richard Ayoade is great but Vince Vaughn and Jonah Hill really put me off seeing this.
