"You can't use it when you're angry!" We've already seen a fantastic first teaser and another brief trailer for the grounded superpowered sci-fi flick Chronicle starring Michael B. Jordan, Alex Russell and Dane DeHaan,, and every glimpse of the film gets me more and more excited to see what this is all about. Now we have another new slightly shorter tease for the film from Just Jared complete with some great shots of these normal kids using these powers in extraordinary ways. Where did these powers come from? How did they get them? I don't know, but this is the kind of gritty, superhero movie I've wanted to see for awhile.
Here's the new short teaser for Josh Trank & Max Landis Chroincle from Just Jared:
Three high school student friends gain superpowers after making an incredible discovery. Soon, though, they find their lives begin to spin out of control and their bonds tested as they embrace their darker sides.
Chronicle is directed by first-time feature filmmaker Josh Trank, of a few episodes of "The Kill Point" TV series. The project was conceived by Trank and Max Landis, son of filmmaker John Landis, both credited for the story, but only Max for the screenplay. 20th Century Fox produced and is releasing Chronicle in theaters everywhere on February 3rd, 2012 early next year. What are you capable of? Watch the first trailer here.

This is either going to be the coolest movie of the year, or the biggest let down of the year. Either way, I'll be there.

I hope this is a surprise hit because these sci-fi type films need a boost in my opinion to be taken seriously across the board and not by comic fans alone.

The more I see of this, the more I think this should stop being called a super HERO movie in place of a super POWERED movie. Because (especially in Andrew's case) nothing is heroic at all. That being said...THIS IS GONNA BE AWESOME.

Am I the only person who thinks this looks naff? I mean, the teasers aren't that extensive so it's hard to say but... it just looks dull.
