Salmon Fishing in the Yemen

We've already seen a U.S. theatrical trailer and another one from across the pond for Lasse Halstrom's adaptation of Salmon Fishing in the Yemen from Slumdog Millionaire writer Simon Beaufoy, but now we have another full length trailer. However, this one mixes some new footage with a few quick talking heads featuring stars Ewan McGregor, Emily Blunt and Kristin Scott Thomas talking about the true story. Honestly it's more like a first look featurette you'd see playing before the trailers even start at the movie theaters, but for those anticipating the adaptation, it should get you pretty excited. Watch it below!

Here's the new trailer for Lasse Halstrom's Salmon Fishing in the Yemen via Yahoo! Movies:

Lasse Halstrom (What's Eating Gilbert Grape, Dear John) is directing the adaptation of Paul Torday's novel Salmon Fishing in the Yemen, written for the screen by Academy Award winning writer Simon Beaufoy (Slumdog Millionaire). The story follows a "fisheries expert" (Ewan McGregor) who is approached by a consultant to help realize a sheik's vision of bringing the sport of fly-fishing to the desert and embarks on an upstream journey of faith and fish that just might prove the impossible, possible. Emily Blunt and Kristin Scott Thomas also star in the film which CBS Films is bringing to theaters starting March 2nd. Look good?

is this a new thing to just hav ur actors talk to the camera about how amazing this new film is they just did? great unbiased opinion there. also i totally believe that was a real reflection of the sheikh in the water there.

Yea I guess it is, seen it with War Horse, why not again here... I guess it's a hard sell, but push it with the actors? Still looks good.

I was hesitant about this film at first, but I think there is a great story to be told here.

This is a movie that seemed really lame at the beginning and became awesome by the end of the trailer.
