Hitchcock

After seeing the fantastic first trailer for Hitchcock, a chronicle of the trials and tribulations between iconic filmmaker Alfred Hitchcock (Anthony Hopkins) and his wife Alma (Helen Mirren) during the making of his classic horror film Psycho. The two had a loving but tense relationship as husband and wife, but also as collaborators. Alma always had a strong influence on Hitch's films and he trusted her implicitly. But on the romance side, she was always troubled by his affinity for the blondes in his films. This featurette looks at the unique relationship through the eyes of director Sacha Gervasi, Hopkins and Mirren. Watch!

Here's the newest featurette for Sacha Gervasi's Hitchcock, in high def from Apple:

Sacha Gervasi (Anvil! The Story of Anvil) is directing Hitchcock, written by John McLaughlin (Black Swan) and based on the book Alfred Hitchcock and the Making of Psycho by Stephen Rebello. Anthony Hopkins plays director Alfred Hitchcock and is supported by a great cast including Helen Mirren, Scarlett Johansson, Danny Huston, Toni Collette, Jessica Biel, Michael Stuhlbarg, James D'Arcy and more. The film, a love story, takes place during the making of Hitchcock's seminal film Psycho. Fox Searchlight opens Hitchcock in limited theaters on November 23rd, just in time for Black Friday after Thanksgiving. See the full trailer.
