Back in September, we posted the complete collection of fan-made Star Wars Trilogy documentaries from hardcore and passionate franchise lover Jamie Benning. Then towards the end of last year, we highlighted 17-minutes from Benning's work-in-progress, Raiding the Lost Ark, yet another feature length filmumentary, this time highlighting George Lucas and Steven Spielberg's iconic adventure flick Raiders of the Lost Ark which introduced the world to Indiana Jones. Now the film is complete and clocks in at nearly two and a half hours, with a lot of juicy behind-the-scenes footage for Indy fans. Watch it below!
Here's the feature length fan documentary Raiding the Lost Ark from Jamie Benning's Vimeo page:
Raiding the Lost Ark contains behind-the-scenes video and audio clips, text facts and excerpts from the 1978 story conference, giving unprecedented insight into the development and creation of Raiders of the Lost Ark. From interviews to audition tapes, the footage contained in this fan-made documentary spans several years, and really deserves to be a supplement on a future Blu-Ray release of Raiders of the Lost Ark.

Fascinating look behind the scenes of one of the best movies ever made. It's interesting to ponder what a different movie it would have been with Tom Selleck as Indy.

Thank you, thank you thank you. This made my 17.3" Dell with 1600 lines of resolution and 6 six gigs of ram totally worth it. This is the best thing I have watched in the past five years! Thanks for taking me back to my childhood. Awesome.
