Red Lights

We've only gotten a brief glimpse at Red Lights, the follow-up to director Rodrigo Cortés Sundance selected film Buried, but audiences were able to see the whole film when the supernatural thriller starring Cillian Murphy, Robert DeNiro and Sigourney Weaver hit the 2012 Sundance Film Festival. Now those who weren't lucky enough to be in Park City, Utah (or missed the film like me) can check out the new full trailer for the film which will hit theaters sometime this year after Millennium Entertainment bought the film at the festival. Reviews were mixed, mainly because of the end, but for now watch the trailer below.

Here's the new trailer for Rodrigo Cortés supernatural thriller Red Lights originally via ShockTillYouDrop:

Red Lights is a supernatural thriller from Buried director Rodrigo Cortés which follows a psychologist (Sigourney Weaver), and her assistant (Elizabeth Olsen from Martha Marcy May Marlene) whose study of paranormal activity leads them to investigate a world-renowned psychic (Robert De Niro) who may in fact be a fraud. Cillian Murphy (Batman Begins, 28 Days Later) also stars in the film which premiered at Sundance and got picked up by Millennium Entertainment. The film will likely hit theaters in 2012. Cool?

Man oh man I want this to be as "wtf?!" as it looks. It would be amazing if he (De Niro) did have powers and Weaver's character knows it but doesn't want her understudy/partner/colleague whatever he (Cillian Murphy) is to mess with him because of that... but in the end it might sadly just be a con job which would suck.

couldn't agree more - i'd be disappointed if he ends up being a con-artist. i'm hoping that - not only does he have real powers; but, he has the powers and is a demon (or some form of evil incarnate).........and the people who are investigating him are going to get in way over their heads in this........goosebumps!

Looks great. I'm glad it doesn't look as though it follows the usual cliches for this type of film. Cillian Murphy is very underrate, so I hope this is a home run for him. He couldn't be accompanied by better actors though.

BURIED is a masterpiece. this looks awesome. Cortés knows what he's doing. i hope de niro does so too... still, ticket sold.

I hope the Silver character isn't a fake, but it looks like another replication of The prestige
