Watch: International Trailer for Ruben Fleischer's 'Gangster Squad'

"Let it rip!" The first trailer for Ruben Fleischer's first drama Gangster Squad was nothing short of impressive. It's hard to expect anything less when you have a cast that includes Ryan Gosling, Emma Stone, Sean Penn, Nick Nolte, Josh Brolin, Michael Pena and Anthony Mackie. A brand new international trailer for the film has showed with with the same badass style, but it's just a little bit shorter. There's a few new killer shots here, but there's a lot of what we've already seen from the first longer trailer. I just can't help but get really excited for this flick. Look out, L.A. Confidential, the gangster squad is coming!
Here's the international trailer for Ruben Fleischer's Gangster Squad, posted on YouTube:
The LAPD fights to keep the East Coast Mafia, run by Mickey Cohen, out of Los Angeles in the 1940s and 50s. Gangster Squad is being directed by Ruben Fleischer (of Zombieland, 30 Minutes or Less) from a screenplay written by Will Beall ("Castle"), based on Paul Lieberman's book. The cast includes Sean Penn as mobster Mickey Cohen, along with Brolin, Gosling, Peña, Patrick, Mackie, plus Emma Stone, Nick Nolte, Giovanni Ribisi, Frank Grillo and Mireille Enos. Quite an awesome cast. The film shot late last year around Los Angeles, and Warner Bros will send the film to theaters sometime later this fall. What do you think?

After Drive I've added Ryan Gosling to my "I'd Pay To Watch You Sleep On Film For 2 Hours" list of actors I admire. My list includes Harrison Ford, Liam Neeson, Clint Eastwood, Jeff Bridges, and now Ryan Gosling.

I don't think I have enough room in this box: American Graffiti, SW Trilogy, The Frisco Kid, Indiana Jones, Blade Runner, Witness, Mosquito Coast (Yes, I liked it), Frantic, Patriot Games, The Fugitive...Plus I wish he was my cool uncle...

I think he hates the limelight, but always sounded thankful for what he gets to do for a living.

Not too good, actually. The characters are caricatures.

So.... they use hip hop in the trailer.... and leave Mackie out of the credited list of names and give him minimal trailer time. Okayee.....
