Just yesterday we highlighted the first poster for Jeff Who Lives at Home, a new comedy starring Jason Segel (The Muppets) and Ed Helms (The Hangover), but now it's time to get really pumped for the movie with the first official trailer which just debuted online. Like any truly great comedy, it doesn't just go for broad stroke laughter and jokes, but has a great, touching story at its core. The Duplass Brothers (The Puffy Chair, Cyrus) are behind the film which seems more like a homegrown story of struggling man with comedic elements rather than a straight-up comedy. Honestly, I can't wait to see this film. Watch below!
Here's the first trailer for Mark and Jay Duplass' film Jeff Who Lives at Home originally from Apple:

Dispatched from his basement room on an errand for his mother, slacker Jeff (Jason Segel) might discover his destiny when he spends the day with his brother (Ed Helms) as he tracks his possibly adulterous wife.
Jeff Who Lives at Home is written & directed by filmmaker brothers Jay & Mark Duplass, who previously wrote and directed the films The Puffy Chair, Baghead and Cyrus. This first premiered at the Toronto Film Festival last fall. Made by Indian Paintbrush & Right of Way Films, Paramount is planning a release this spring. Jeff Who Lives at Home arrives in limited theaters starting on March 2nd. Stay tuned for a trailer!

This has a great cast and I really want to like it, but I think it looks like the most generic family dramedy you could possibly think of.

I think this looks much better than the alternative Hollywood garbage.

i didnt like Cyrus very much, but this looks like its going to be enjoyable. Plus it's Jason Segal, and he always has thi aura he brings to films he does and it just mekes him enjoyable.

This is the exact type of tone of a movie that I absolutely adore. It appears to have the same kind as 'Juno', '50/50,' and '500 Day of Summer,' which is one of my favorite types. Jason Segal is amazing in almost everything he is in, so he should do well.

I really hope that, in this movie, Ed Helms loses his beard the way he lost his tooth in 'The Hangover'. That thing just looks aweful! Anyhow, back to the trailer: although I do like Jason Seagul and Ed Helmet's comedic performance now and then, but this movie just seems to Indie for me. The trailer already shows it has every known Indie-cliché.

This looks like it can be really good. I enjoyed Cyrus rather much and this looks like it can be even better. Mark and Jay Duplass are starting to impress me with their comedic film making. Finally some competition for Judd Apatow!
