This week sees the release of Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter into the world, and considering the reaction audiences have had to the trailer at various trips to the movie theaters, I have a bad feeling it's going to bomb (even though I'm starting to come around to the ridiculous historical remix). And so, in leading up to the film's release on Friday, a new video, being dubbed a music trailer, has been unleashed. The Linkin Park song Powerless, off their new album Living Things hitting shelves June 26th, sets the stage along with plenty of new footage from Timur Bekmambetov's bloody adaptation. Watch below!
Here's the Linkin Park music trailer for Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter via Yahoo UK:
President Lincoln's mother is killed by a supernatural creature, fueling his passion to crush vampires and their slave-owning helpers. A cross between D.W. Griffith's Abraham Lincoln & F. W. Murnau's Nosferatu.
Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter is directed by Russian filmmaker Timur Bekmambetov, director of the Night/Day Watch series, Irony of Fate 2, and Wanted previously. An adaptation of Seth Grahame-Smith's mash-up novel of the same name, it was adapted by writers Seth Grahame-Smith & Simon Kinberg (of xXx: State of the Union, Mr. & Mrs. Smith, X-Men: The Last Stand, Jumper, This Means War). 20th Century Fox is bringing Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter to theaters in 3D starting June 22, 2012 this summer.

Hello mr.Jericho I hate spoilers, I don't watch trailers of this beloved picture either. But I'm tired of mean action movies dude. I think this has different kind style, take us to beyond and open new doors for actiongoers

That was pretty underwhelming, imo. The trailer bits went all "Byaar!" axe-to-the-face-actiony and the music stayed all snoozy and boring. I kinda expected Chester to belt out some angry vocals to go along with the footage. This did absolutely nothing for me. Well, except disappoint me, of course.

New Linkin Park song woo hoo! (although their stuff isn't as good as way before) Still the song is pretty cool! As for the movie I'm not too sure wether to watch it or not, I mean it just it doesn't seem as great as the book imo. But I'll give it a try, maybe it's better than it seems
