"Who invited the furry peanut?" Yea, that's how I feel about this, too. One of the more lackluster Super Bowl TV spots to debut during the big game was for Dr. Seuss' The Lorax, the upcoming animated movie from Illumination Entertainment, behind Despicable Me and Hop. We've seen plenty of footage and trailers for this before, so it's not much new we haven't seen, but the jokes are a bit different and it plays to be fun and funny more than intriguing. The voice cast is lead by Zac Efron and Danny DeVito, with Taylor Swift, Betty White, Ed Helms and Rob Riggle. If you're interested in seeing it anyway, view the TV spot below.

In this version of The Lorax, a boy searches for the one thing that will enable him to win the affection of the girl of his dreams. To find it he must discover the story of the Lorax, the grumpy yet charming creature who fights to protect his world from a greedy entrepreneur as he strips a forest of its stock of Truffula trees to manufacture clothing. Danny DeVito voices The Lorax while supporting voice talent includes Zac Efron, Taylor Swift, Betty White, Rob Riggle and Ed Helms. Despicable Me director Chris Renaud is co-dircting with animator Kyle Balda from a script written by Hop and Horton Hears a Who! screenwriters Ken Daurio and Cinco Paul. Universal is bring The Lorax to theaters on March 2nd next year. Amusing?
