"Why can't I connect with people?" We don't normally post opening scenes like this, but this is more of a promo for a film we're looking forward to anyway, so why the heck not. It's for the zombie romantic-comedy (zom-rom?) titled Warm Bodies, directed by Jonathan Levine (of The Wackness) starring Nicholas Hoult as the zombie R. We've featured a couple of trailers in the past already, as well as numerous posters, so we know what it's about and it actually looks good. While this is a great introduction to the zombie world in Warm Bodies, we don't get to see Teresa Palmer yet, but hopefully this will lock a few of you in. Enjoy!
Watch the opening scene from Jonathan Levine's Warm Bodies, originally from Fandango:
Warm Bodies, written and adapted by Jonathan Levine from Isaac Marion's novel, stars Nicholas Hoult, Teresa Palmer, John Malkovich, Analeigh Tipton, Dave Franco and Rob Corddry. This "zombie love story" stars Hoult as R, a zombie who falls in love with Julie after he eats her boyfriend's brains and absorbs his memories. A genre-bending tale of love and transformation, Warm Bodies is a story about a boy who loves a girl… for more than just her body. Shooting was finished Montreal late last year, but Summit then delayed the release of Warm Bodies from early this year to February 1st, 2013 coming up. So how did that look?

I saw it about a month ago. I loved it. Sort of like mixing twilight with the zombie genre but still better than twilight.

This is why i love Jonathan Levine as a director he is always fun and sincere in his execution. And to be honest when i first heard about this story i thought it was going to be lame, but from the looks of it so far i think it's going to be a fun experience.

I can't wait for this movie, not just cause of the fact that my girlfriend and I are gonna go watch it on Valentine's day, but I mean it actually looks like a pretty good/fun movie.

Maybe it's just me, but I think this looks stupid as Hell. I LOVE Jonathan Levine, but this just looked forced and too much like a reinvention of what being a zombie is. Maybe I'll be pleasantly surprised though...

Still kicking myself I missed a screener of this recently but I had other obligations. Looks like it's going to be a lot of fun though.
