Watch: Red Band Trailer for Horror Fantasy 'John Dies at the End'
One of the weirdest and most original films I saw at the 2012 Sundance Film Festival was John Dies at the End, director Don Coscarelli's absurd tale of two buddies who take an underground drug that turn them into interdimensional exorcists. We've seen a teaser trailer, a great poster, and now IGN has a new red band look at the film that features more boobs, blood, and violence while still keeping things rather mysterious. The movie stars Chase Williamson, Rob Mayes, Paul Giamatti, Clancy Brown, Doug Jones, and more, and if you're a fan of bizarre films, John Dies at the End is an absolute must-see. Watch!
Here's the new red band trailer for Don Coscarelli's John Dies at the End, courtesy of IGN:
It's a drug that promises an out-of-body experience with each hit. On the street they call it Soy Sauce, and users drift across time and dimensions. But some who come back are no longer human. Suddenly a silent otherworldly invasion is underway, and mankind needs a hero. What it gets instead is John and David, a pair of college dropouts who can barely hold down jobs. Can these two stop the oncoming horror in time to save humanity? No. No, they can't. Based on David Wong's 2007 book. Written & directed by Don Coscarelli (of Phantasm I-IV, The Beastmaster, Survival Quest, Bubba Ho-Tep). This first premiered at Sundance and is hitting theaters on January 25th, plus VOD starting December 27th. Visit: johndies.com.

I too suffer from constant masturbation, like John... This gives me night blindness... -Things I probably shouldn't be putting out on the comments section of a movie website.

Am I the only one that thinks this will be absolutely horrible?

It may be a disaster in terms of a movie. But it's the only upcoming movie that makes me understand how The Avengers or the upcoming Start Trek or latest Batman or what have you makes the fanboys feel.I am positively excited and can't hardly wait for this since they announced they are making this damned thing! I really hope it won't completely suck.

Realize that it has a very small niche audience and most likely won't make back its money until it's released on dvd.
