"I'm a man, I'm a man, I'm a man." Columbia has debuted a new red band trailer via MTV for the summer comedy That's My Boy, originally titled I Hate You Dad, starring Adam Sandler as a terrible, terrible father of a now grown-up kid who's getting married, played by Andy Samberg. The concept on paper sounds funny, a father and son sparring over random crap, almost like Hot Rod meets Step Brothers, but it looks much worse than both of those. The cast includes: Leighton Meester, James Caan, Susan Sarandon, Milo Ventimiglia and Will Forte, but none of them make a difference. Have fun and try to laugh if you can.
Watch the first red band trailer for Sean Anders & John Morris' That's My Boy, originally via MTV:
A father moves in with his son right before his wedding and soon begins feuding with his daughter-in-law.
That's My Boy, originally I Hate You Dad, is co-directed by Sean Anders & John Morris, both behind Sex Drive previously, with Anders the director and Morris making his directorial debut this time around. The screenplay was written by newcomer David Caspe ("Happy Endings"), with rewrites by Ken Marino & David Wain (both of The Ten, Role Models, Wanderlust). Happy Madison Productions and Columbia Pictures are bringing That's My Boy to theaters starting on June 15th right in the middle of the summer. Worth seeing?

This looks insane. Can't decide if good or bad, but that last line from Leighton was awesome.

Looks 80s, I'm intrigued. Is Sandler back with a good film for a change or will it end up being disappointing like Bad Teacher? We'll see..

If Adam didn't always do his weird nasally voice, I might actually be interested.

That looked a lot better than the article commentary led me to believe. By no means does it look like a masterpiece, but I will temporarily reserve judgment for now - which is a first for Sandler since, basically, Spanglish. Also, Sex Drive is one of my top 5 comedies of the past five years.

Hmmm. Sandler NOT doing a family film. Vanilla Ice with a bong. And I'm pretty sure I saw Nick Swardson in a mullet. I think I want to see this.

"Smells like dick infused with balls." Nice. I haven't heard a good dick smell line since "It smells like Bigfoot's dick!" in Anchorman.

A whole blog dedicated to bad film blogging? Sweet jesus what a sad bastard idea that is. Let's not even get into the fact that whoever writes it is less talented than most of the writers they shit on. Seriously though this is the most crying I've ever seen on the internet. Awful.

Oddly enough I don't need to ask myself if this looks good or bad because I found the answer: It looks bad and really really bad...I mean horrible.

Sandler and Happy Madison normally ends up in my list of guilty pleasures. So I will probably check this out at cheap price.

An open letter to Adam Sandler: Dear Mr. Sandler, Please die, or better yet, fuck off and die. Even better would be if you'd so kindly oblige me and all other movie goers with an IQ above celery and just 69 Nick Swardson until you both fuck off and die. That is all. Sincerely, A former fan

Thus far one of the funniest movies I have ever seen. Trust me it will become an all time favorite. Laugh after laugh after laugh. Don't believe me wait till it hits theaters and your friends start telling you it's awesome. Don't believe them watch it on Redbox when it comes out, however you will regret not seeing it at the movies.

This'll probably make up for the shitstorm that was Jack and Jill. Plus, it's a joy to hear adam sandler say "fuck".
