Watch: The Artistic Approach to Boobs and Blood in 'Piranha 3DD'

There's no doubt that there's pretty much only two good reasons you're even remotely interested in Piranha 3DD: an original story and stellar acting. That's why the cast and crew behind the new horror comedy have taken the time to talk about the hard work that went into this fine piece of American filmmaking and also highlight some of the finer points of the film in a new featurette. No doubt we'll be seeing some of these scenes in Oscar highlight reels next year, especially the ones involving Gary Busey lighting cow flatulence on fire and a tiny piranha swimming into a couple different "private areas." Watch!
Here's the NSFW featurette for John Gulager's horror comedy sequel Piranha 3DD from Funny or Die:
After Lake Victoria, the pre-historic school of blood-thirsty piranhas make their way elsewhere. This time, no one is safe as they sink their teeth into the visitors of the summer attraction The Big Wet Water Park.
Piranha 3DD is directed by American filmmaker John Gulager, who debuted with Feast along with writers Marcus Dunstan & Patrick Melton, who went on to together writer & direct two more Feast movies. The screenplay for this was written by Marcus Dunstan and Patrick Melton, who got their start on "Project Greenlight" with their horror project Feast. The Weinstein Company & Dimension Films will be releasing Piranha 3DD in 3D in theaters everywhere starting on June 1st, 2012, for a big raunchy summer splash.

While I wouldn't go that far, Crapola, I gotta say that I also loved the hell out of the first film. I was surprised to see so many critics like it, but hell, I had a wonderful time watching it (couldn't get that damned s**t-eating grin off my face for a couple of days...).

Fairplay Scopedog, I think they came out around the same time and were both 3D, but I was just more entertained by Piranha than Avatar, which is weird, I'm sure the budgets were a little different. It was really silly, but I think that was the point and the use of 3d was pretty funny too.

well its great to know that even though the actors knew they signed up for an awful movie, they can still laugh and make fun of it. but money is money.
