It's hard to believe but the anticipated release of The Avengers from Marvel and director Joss Whedon is just over a month away. Comic book fans probably thought they'd never see their favorite superheroes on the big screen, let alone having Iron Man, Captain America, The Incredible Hulk, Thor, Hawkeye and a team of S.H.I.E.L.D agents come together to protect the planet, and now it's actually happening. Aside from that amazing second trailer keeping the hype machine going, now Norton, the anti-virus software company who also did a Captain America featurette, has a new featurette for this assembly of superheroes. Watch below!
Here's Norton's featurette on Joss Whedon's The Avengers from their Facebook page (via ComingSoon):
When an unexpected enemy emerges that threatens global safety and security, Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson), director of the international peacekeeping agency known as S.H.I.E.L.D., finds himself in need of a team to pull the world back from the brink of disaster. The star studded cast includes Robert Downey Jr, Chris Hemsworth, Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner, Cobie Smulders, as well as Tom Hiddleston and Stellan Skarsgård who are reprising their respective roles from Thor. Marvel's The Avengers, directed by Joss Whedon (Serenity), hits theaters everywhere May 4th, 2012. You can watch the first trailer here, the Super Bowl spot here, or the newest theatrical trailer here.

Quite ironic that this was powered by Norton, with the whole Hulk thing and all

I like Ruffalo and all, but this film really would've been absolutely perfect if Edward Norton was involved.

Iron Man and The Incredible Hulk are the best Marvel's movies until this day.

Not too happy about Ruffalo as the Hulk, but lets hope its an easy transition like Don Cheadle as Rhodes in Iron Man II :/

That one hurt, but as far as acting presence is concerned Cheadle is the better Rhodes.

Ya to be honest I wasn't bothered by that at all really... Norton is indeed the better Hulk in my opinion, and was a believable Bruce Banner as well, guess we're just gonna have to wait and see how Ruffalo does the job :p

As I've mentioned before, Norton was wasted on the Hulk when he should have been in this as Henry "Hank" Pym. Mark Ruffalo is Bruce Banner.

I totally have no interest in the Avengers. Will watch it when it's on tv.

Have you seen any of their solo films? Ill admit most are sub par, but figured this kicks the summer off right.

Yep man, I watched Thor, it was ok, Iron Man 1&2 not bad, even the Hulk1, Hulk remake and now how 2.0 were good. As much as I love comics, it just seems a little daft having them all together. I know it will make crazy dollaz and everyone will love it, I'm just having an episode.

Ah, dude, I kind of agree with you. I loved Iron Man 1 & 2, Hulk remake was amazing and I indeed love the comics. But for some reason I just can't accept them all together without thinking super cheese and 'making dollaz' as you said.

The Avengers is taking place around 2009. The Amazing Spiderman takes place present day in 2012.

we might see Peter though (knowing Marvel's easter eggs), but just Peter as a boy

I think Sony owns the rights, so no New Avengers reunion.

if anything (from previous mentioning of easter eggs) I wouldn't be surprised or even a bit happy if at the end of the movie, after the credits, Rhodes comes up to Tony and says something like "next time you're in trouble, call me and ill bring some more fight". Inserting war machine in Avengers 2.

Ruffalo is good actor so I for one am not mad... granted I do like Edward Norton but come on... is Ruffalo that bad??(yes his poster was horrible)... plus it's in Marvels hands right?

Patrick Wilson for sure because Edward Norton got wasted on the Hulk when it should have always been Mark Ruffalo as Banner.
