Watch: Totally Awesome 'Bond 50' Blu-Ray Box Set Official Trailer
All the Bonds, All the Girls, All the Action. Pardon my language, but oh f**ck yes! I've been waiting for this. MGM has been holding onto releasing the last few Blu-Rays in the Bond series because they've been waiting to unveil this bad boy. Coming out this year is the grand poobah, Bond 50, a Blu-Ray box set containing all 22 of the Bond movies on Blu-Ray in high definition (goes for ~$200). This is to die for. And to get you excited, HeyUGuys has found an official trailer for the set, and it's packed with Bond goodness from start to finish. It's not often we break our rules to mention Blu-Rays, but this is absolutely worthy of being watched.
This new box set is in honor of it being the 50 years since Dr. No was made in 1962. We've been covering this already, as Sam Mendes' new 23rd Bond film, Skyfall, is shooting now and due out in theaters this fall. Bond 50 (pre-order it on Amazon) showcases fifty years of Bond neatly packaged into one cool, sleek collectable box-set featuring all six iconic James Bond actors. Produced using the highest possible picture quality and audio presentation, the collection includes all 22 James Bond feature films from Dr. No to Quantum of Solace and more than 130 hours of bonus features including some new and exclusive content. The box set was announced today at CES 2012 by MGM and Fox Home Entertainment, but no release date.

Blu ray, how much more definition can they squeeze out of those movies? The last 2 yeah maybe...well Casino Royale. I'd watch that again!!

Nice trailer, but they showed the Daniel Craig films a weee too much.
Legandaryedition on Jan 10, 2012
Agreed. Sean Connery should have had waaaay more face time.

Yeah, I know they want to keep awareness of Daniel Craig as Bond, but they can run all they like with Skyfall P&A. This set is about the 50 years of Bond and should show Lazenby even though he wasn't too popular.
Max Renn on Jan 12, 2012
Shame a majority of the excerpts weren't shown in their correct aspect ratio.

Why in the fuck when they have a new release trailer they never include On Her Majestys Secret Service, From Russia With Love, or GOLDFINGER, the best of the bond films, just because there the oldest ones doesnt mean there lower than the newer films, they are always going to be the best and Connery is the best bond, the only good modern bond film was Casino Royal, thats it, Goldeneye was tight, Dalton was coo, moore was cartoonish, but Connery and Lazenby was the best

Well, Goldfinger is in this trailer...

Only a few seconds, and not the most cinematic parts, including the Aston Martin gadget chase, or the Bond Ode job showdown

What about the people that already have some of them on blu-ray(IE the two new ones and maybe some of the old ones)? Are they SOL and JWF?
