Dredd 3D TV Spots

"Only one thing fighting for order in the chaos - Judges." While we were announcing the Dredd Report viral site yesterday, Lionsgate also unveiled the first couple of TV spots for Dredd 3D, starring Karl Urban as our new Judge Dredd. I love this movie and have been anxiously awaiting its release because it's such an exhilarating, entertaining modern sci-fi cinematic experience. The first TV spot is only 30 seconds, and has a "legendary" tag (you'll see why), the second one (via Movies.com) comes in at a full 60 seconds and features plenty more action. Olivia Thirlby and Lena Headey also co-star in Dredd. Check these out!

Watch the initial "Legendary" TV spot for Pete Travis's Dredd 3D, originally found via Collider:

And here's another full 60 second TV spot for Pete Travis's Dredd, originally from Movies.com:

Dredd takes us to the wild streets of Mega City One, the lone oasis of quasi-civilization on Cursed Earth. Judge Dredd (Karl Urban) is the most feared of elite Street Judges, with the power to enforce the law, sentence offenders and execute them on the spot – if necessary. The endlessly inventive mind of writer Alex Garland and the frenetic vision of director Peter Travis bring Dredd to life as a futuristic neo-noir action movie that returns the celebrated character to the dark, visceral incarnation from John Wagner and Carlos Ezquerra's revered 2000 AD comic strip. Dredd 3D is set for release everywhere starting September 21st.
