Johnny Depp and Bill Murray

With Moonrise Kingdom charming audiences around the country (it's now Wes Anderson's second most successful film behind The Royal Tenenbaums), the director is already on to his next project. Much like the projects of Woody Allen, the story remains under wraps, but Anderson is already getting a stellar ensemble cast together for his next film, which currently doesn't have a known title. Twitch has learned that Anderson has approached familiar names like Bill Murray, Owen Wilson,Edward Norton, Jeff Goldblum, Adrien Brody and Willem Dafoe. But some new talents are joining Anderson for the first time as well.

Apparently Johnny Depp, Angela Lansbury and Jude Law have all be approached to star in the film as well. It's not clear if there are offers out to these actors, or if they've merely been talked to by Anderson, but this cast already sounds fantastic. It's no surprise that Owen Wilson is getting back together with Anderson, though Moonrise Kingdom was the first film that didn't directly involve the writer/actor in any capacity. And of course Murray has been stealing scenes in Anderson's films for years, not to mention leading The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou, but it'll be cool to see him reunited with Ed Wood co-star Johnny Depp if all these talents end up coming together.. As for the story, we only know that it's supposed to take place in Europe and calls upon some of the time Anderson spent in France. I'm already excited.

No Johnny Depp in a Wes Anderson movie, please.

The fact is Johnny Depp's a great actor who does many, many bad movies. Seeing him teamed up with a great writer/director is exactly what his career needs. Let's not forget that brief moment when Nicolas Cage teamed up with Charlie Kaufman and Spike Jonze. Wes Anderson's choices never need to be questioned.

Idealistic , Hilarious & Dreamy Cast Anderson has great visionary style and also unique , grotesque , gritty , comic cinematic tone either. He is Cool & Mindful Director and this cast is match with his ideas. Just staying One Goddamn Extraordinary Story as big as this giant cast & crew !
