Weyland Continues Recruiting at Comic-Con + Another Viral Video
by Alex Billington
June 27, 2012
"Cut it off!" It ain't over yet. Another new video from Weyland Industries has popped up online, sent out today and posted via YouTube with a new website linked to Comic-Con coming up in just a few weeks. This one features a new Weyland hire, an employee named Jamie Rossi, a "nanotechnologist in the biomedical field office on Luna." She talks about her job and how wonderful it is, and there's random freaky clips of Prometheus spliced in. But at the end it points out a new link and show what this is all about - a tease that the viral will continue with "recruiting" at the San Diego Comic-Con 2012, coming up in July. See below!
The new video can be seen right below, but in the meantime you can check out the new viral website at projectprometheus.com/sdcc/. It still only states "details coming soon" so we'll have to follow-up for more:
Although Prometheus is now playing in theaters, the Weyland viral has continued on. A few weeks ago we wrote about the website and Peter Weyland video linked at the end of the credits, now this continues things once again. We'll see you at Comic-Con! We'll update along the way if needs be. Anyone going to be there?
Prometheus is directed by legendary Oscar nominated filmmaker Ridley Scott, who started it all with Alien and Blade Runner, also directing Thelma & Louise, Gladiator, Black Hawk Down, Kingdom of Heaven, American Gangster, Body of Lies and Robin Hood most recently. The screenplay was originally written by Jon Spaihts (The Darkest Hour), then updated by Damon Lindelof of "Lost" and Cowboys & Aliens, Star Trek 2. Fox released Prometheus in theaters in 3D on June 8th earlier this summer. Visit Weyland Corp.

It would be cool, but I doubt they would do that considering the money involved.Don't think any of studio heads have the balls to risk such a huge investment on a surprise. They are probably going to overhype the sequel too.
give it a brake will ya on Jun 28, 2012

A sequel in 2014 would be freaking AWESOME!!! But I think it will be just some info on the extended edition instead. Hopefully it adds 30+ minutes into the film!!
