With upcoming leading turns in The LEGO Movie and Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy, "Parks & Recreation" star Chris Pratt is on the verge of a becoming a huge star, and another potential blockbuster in his future will continue that rise. THR has word that Pratt is in early talks to join Jurassic World, the fourth sequel in the dinosaur action adventure franchise at Universal Pictures. And yet again, Pratt would be the film's male lead, a rugged former soldier who is at odds with Bryce Dallas Howard, who is playing a corporate scientist. This is the role that producers offered to Josh Brolin, but a deal didn't pan out. Read on!
Since talks are early, there's still a chance that Pratt might not take the part. Though we don't have anymore plot details, we do have word that previously cast young stars Nick Robinson and Ty Simpkins will both be playing Howard's nephews. We just want a basic plotline so we know what's going to happen in the sequel on some level. Rumors have pegged Jurassic World being a theme park already open with dinosaurs populating it, making it a star attraction, but of course, something goes wrong and people are put in danger. Anyway, stay tuned for all Jurassic World updates as they come.
