'Amazing Spider-Man 2' 3D Trailer Before 'Hobbit: Desolation of Smaug'
Briefly: In what will likely be a completed version of the footage shown at Comic-Con this past summer, director Marc Webb just announced (in Elvish) that the first trailer for The Amazing Spider-Man 2 will arrive in 3D before showings of The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug in 3D, beginning December 13th. In all likelihood, the trailer will probably also be attached to 2D showings of the film as well, but now guarantees. The viral site for The Daily Bugle has been busy lately, hinting at more than a couple villains coming down the pipeline in the forthcoming sequels. We'll find out what secrets they hold next summer.
For those interested, here's the Elvish text that Marc Webb posted on Twitter, which translates to, "Watch for The Amazing Spider-Man 2 trailer in front of The Hobbit in 3D.” Come back to watch it in December.
Also, be sure to check out our interview with Marc Webb from Comic-Con just earlier this year right here.
The Amazing Spider-Man 2 is directed by Marc Webb and written by Jeff Pinker, Roberto Orci and Alex Kurtzman. Peter Parker (Andrew Garfield) finds, life is busy between taking out the bad guys as Spider-Man and spending time with the person he loves, Gwen (Emma Stone), high school graduation can't come quickly enough. Peter hasn't forgotten the promise he made to Gwen's father to protect her by staying away, but that's a promise he just can't keep. Things will change for Peter when a new villain, Electro (Jamie Foxx), emerges, an old friend, Harry Osborn (Dane DeHaan), returns, and Peter uncovers new clues about his past. Sony will release Amazing Spider-Man 2 in theaters next summer on May 2nd, 2014. Excited?

Actually it's just runes from the Germanic / Norse Old Futhark alphabet. Take a look: http://www.occultblogger.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/03/futhark1.jpg Did Jackson use those as Dwarven runes though? Something at least similar to that, sure. But I can't quite remember.
