At Middleton

If the Tina Fey and Paul Rudd romantic comedy Admission didn't give you the kind of charm you wanted from a film about two people who fall in love at a college, then you might want to give At Middleton a try (a film that was actually called Admissions at one point). The new film follows Andy Garcia (Ocean's 11, City Island) and Vera Farmiga (The Conjuring, The Departed) as two parents who strike up a chat while on a college admissions tour and seem to fall in love at first sight. Farmiga's teenage sister Taissa Farmiga ("American Horror Story") also stars in the film as her daughter, and Danielle Garcia (daughter of the leading man) also plays a college student in the film. This looks pretty charming, but is it good? Watch!

Here's the first trailer for Adam Rodger's At Middleton, originally from Yahoo:

At Middleton marks the feature directorial debut of Adam Rodgers, who co-wrote the screenplay with newcomer Glenn German. Disillusioned Edith (Vera Farmiga) meets stick-in-the-mud George (Andy Garcia) while they are taking their children to visit Middleton College. Edith's daughter Audrey (Taissa Farmiga) is aggravated by her mom's jokes while George's son Conrad (Spencer Lofranco) would rather be somewhere else. Annoyed with their kids, Edith and George end up abandoning the official tour to explore the campus on their own. During the course of the day, they get to know each other, rediscover their inner children and maybe find love. Anchor Bay releases the film on VOD and in theaters January 31st.

I'm getting sick of these searching for happiness movies, why can't people just be miserable like everybody else.

Not for my age group, but it could be good, considering the talent pool.

I love the cast they chose for this movie, Vera Farmiga is one of the most underrated actresses out there and it'll be nice to see Andy Garcia in this type of role. Oh and also I loved that they used "The Great Divide" by The Mowgli's in the trailer, that's such a good song i hope it's in the actual movie, too.
