Another Boring Trailer for Bryan Singer's 'Jack the Giant Slayer' Hits

"Giants!" Well, here we go again. Now that the visual effects are finished and delivered, Warner Bros has cut one final trailer for Jack the Giant Slayer, the Bryan Singer-directed fantasy action epic about bean stalks and giants. While there are a lot of cool shots being shown off in this, it's still just as boring as the first trailer for this movie, rock music and all. Nicholas Hoult stars as Jack with Eleanor Tomlinson, plus Ewan McGregor, Stanley Tucci, Bill Nighy, Warwick Davis and a crazy Ian McShane. I hate to be so brutally honest, but I'm just not that excited for this, though I'm sure I'll see it only for Bryan Singer.
Watch the second theatrical trailer for Bryan Singer's Jack the Giant Slayer, in high def via Apple:
A modern fairy tale in which the long-standing peace between men and giants is threatened, as a young farmer (Hoult) leads an expedition into the giants' kingdom in hopes of rescuing a kidnapped princess.
Jack the Giant Killer Slayer is directed by filmmaker Bryan Singer, of Public Access, The Usual Suspects, Apt Pupil, X-Men, X2, Superman Returns and Valkyrie previously. The script is by Darren Lemke (Shrek Forever After), Christopher McQuarrie (Usual Suspects, Valkyrie) and Dan Studney (Reefer Madness: The Musical). Warner Bros pushed Jack the Giant Slayer back, now opening March 1st next month. Going?

I think this CGI is to today's standard of visual effects what the original "Jack"'s stop-motion was to Ray Harryhausen's back then.

This movie seemed so promising when the teaser trailer hit and it was still called the Giant Killer. Now, I don't know. What happened??

For whatever reason I feel like they really pussed out when they changed it from "Giant Killer" to "Giant Slayer". It's almost like they feel the same way.

The CGI seems less than it's best. I want to be optimistic, I'm generally a fan of the likes of Bryan Singer, Ewan McGregor, and Bill Nighy....yet it just doesn't seem that great. I will say that this trailer makes is a better showing than the last one...a lot of the moments I hated in the first trailer were not repeated here.

Although they are still likely in the film...but just in terms of trailers...I would say this one is more likely to sell people than the last one, which made the film feel very predictable.

This movie looks so cheesy that it might as well be called "You Don't Know Jack"

Sorry i never considered Bryan Singer as a an skill director, Only "Apt Pupil" i call it it as a good movie, and mostly is because of the work of Sir Ian McKellen. I never liked The X men movies from Singer i hated Superman and i don't trust him for action sequences. the characters already look to toony and exagerated, the cgi is too evident, it feels like the first harry potter movie. It's just another commercial licensing products

Remember when Bryan Singer could do no wrong? (and then he did two big wrongs simultaneously)

I lost interest in this movie when I saw a preview for it last August...and it still said it was coming out summer (June or July) 2012...REALLY? You can't even bother to change your own trailer?
