Snowpiercer Trailer

"You belong to the tail. Keep your place." Ohhh this looks so damn good! Another new trailer has arrived for Joon-ho Bong's Snowpiercer, the post-apocalyptic sci-fi set on the massive train traveling around a frozen world. The first official trailer hit earlier this summer, starring Chris Evans and Tilda Swinton among others, but now we have some more footage in the form of a nice little package. The Snowpiercer YouTube uploaded what's dubbed the "international 60's trailer". It's basically a short intro plus setup of the plot and it works well, showing just enough. I love all of the tracking shots. "This time we take the engine."

Here's the new "60's international" trailer for Joon-ho Bong's Snowpiercer, found on YouTube:

The cast for Joon-ho Bong's Snowpiercer includes Chris Evans with Ed Harris, Jamie Bell, Alison Pill, John Hurt, Oscar winners Tilda Swinton & Octavia Spencer, Ewen Bremner, Kang-ho Song and Luke Pasqualino as passengers on the train. Joon-ho describes Snow Piercer as a post-apocalyptic movie about a few survivors who end up on a massive train that is divided by economic classes. "With a revolt brewing onboard, the Snow Piercer is a train of Earth's lone survivors that travels around the cold world." The Weinstein Company is planning a "wide summer 2013" release for the movie, but no date has been set yet. It will be released in South Korea coming up in August. We expect to see it over here soon after.

There is also a couple of 1-2min anime made for the promotion, shows some of the background for the movie. Not sure if that was actually a teaser for a longer promotion/pre-movie, as it's in Japanese. Check out the Snowpiercer youtube channel.

Have you tried autolytic debridement? It might help your little problem. Also, there is a youtube link in this very article to said short promotion films. If you were able to pull your head out of your d-hole, you might have noticed that. You're not very bright are you now? And let's get one thing clear, Dr. Banner sits on the opposite side of that bar.

6's in Korean, and it's not an anime, but it is a prologue for the film explaining the large scale events that led up to the film's plot.

DAVIDPD on Jul 6, 2013

Imma see this in Korea.

DAVIDPD on Jul 6, 2013

Nice, let's hope its actually makes its here.

Spoiler Alert: Captain America gets defrosted and realizes it was all a dream!

Ron on Jul 6, 2013

I have to admit... the whole concept of this is ludicrous, but being the sci-fi geek that I am, I am going to sit in rapt attention, wasting two hours of my life, watching it, but only on DVD.

"Are you Fu Man Chu, security specialist?" Really?

He is clearly a racist or bad at making jokes.

DAVIDPD on Jul 6, 2013

Or you clearly have no sense of humor.

grubb on Jul 8, 2013

I didn't laugh but i didn't find it a bad joke. I must be a racist too. The internet nowdays....

Why, if the world is frozen over, does the train just go around and around? And are there really THAT few people left?

Scotty97 on Jul 6, 2013

There is no where else to go. Humans don't fare well in an Ice Age.

DAVIDPD on Jul 6, 2013

Humans will do fine when the next Ice Age hits.

Andrew Ortega on Jul 7, 2013

You speak from experience?

Norbert Korzus on Jul 8, 2013

We are currently in an ice-age called the Pliocene-Quaternary, but in an interglacial period. There have been at least four glacial episodes in the last million years, the last one ending around 12,000 years ago. The Pliocene-Quaternary began about 2.58 million years ago, earlier than Homo Habilis started using tools, thereby establishing itself as Homo Sapien's first ancestor.

We can make a train go around the world and fill the front half with plants, etc.... we can make a fire.

Scotty97 on Jul 25, 2013

They should have called this movie Trainlysium: Elysium on a train.

meatcarnage on Jul 7, 2013

Looks and feels like a Korean soap opera. It's what destroyed Walking Dead.

True Story on Jul 8, 2013

What do you mean by "excellent"? The movie looks crap, plus Chris Evans ain't that cool as he used to be, blame Cap.

dawko on Jul 8, 2013

I want to see the movie just to know how long the train really is.
