Apocalypse Absurdity - Red Band Trailer for 'This is The End' Arrives

"Hermione just stole all of our shit." This isn't a joke this time! Sony has debuted the full red band trailer for Seth Rogen & Evan Goldberg's apocalypse comedy This is The End, originally titled Jay and Seth Vs. the Apocolapyse. Earlier today they dropped a Pineapple Express 2 teaser which turned out to just be a trailer for This is The End, however they've finally launched the full trailer that goes into the story and gives away a few of the celebrity deaths. Seth Rogen, James Franco, Jay Baruchel, Jonah Hill, Danny McBride, Craig Robinson and Emma Watson star, with appearances by Michael Cera and Rhianna.

This is the End is written and directed by Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg (who wrote Superbad together) and follows Seth Rogen and Jay Baruchel attending a party at James Franco's house with a bunch of other celebrities when the end of the world begins out of nowhere. Jonah Hill, Danny McBride, Craig Robinson, Jason Segel, Michael Cera, David Krumholtz, Rihanna, Emma Watson and many more all have cameos in the film which is just one of two apocalyptic comedies arriving next year (the other is Edgar Wright's The World's End with Simon Pegg and Nick Frost). Sony Pictures will open This is the End starting June 12th.
