'Beasts', 'Life of Pi', 'Moonrise', 'Skyfall' Earn Producers Guild Noms
Now this is something. The 22nd Producers Guild Awards nominations have been announced, pushing the awards season into high gear as we head into the next few months of anticipation leading to the Oscars. Headlining the nominations are 10 movies for the Best Motion Picture, including many of the expected like Argo, Les Mis, Lincoln, but there's a few other good ones like Moonrise Kingdom, Beasts of the Southern Wild, Life of Pi, even Skyfall, that slipped in there, too. Last year it was The Artist that went on to win the PGA Award, meaning this may be a hint at the Oscars again. Only time will tell! Full list below.
Here's the list of film nominees for the 2013 PGA Awards (for television nominees, see the press release):

Wow, if that is the line-up that we'll be seeing at the Oscars this year, it will be quite something. Impressive nominations for everyone involved, deserving for all of them. I really do think this is a fantastic selection of films that will make the Oscars an exciting grand finale, because no one really knows what will be winning everything this year. There are top picks (like Lincoln, Les Mis and Zero Dark Thirty) and dark horses too (Skyfall, Moonrise Kingdom, Silver Linings Playbook, even Beasts) plus Tarantino's Django Unchained is kind of a wild card now. We'll follow up with winners once they're announced in just a few weeks from now.
Winners of the PGA Awards will be announced on January 26th at ceremony at the Beverly Hilton Hotel. For more information on the Producers Guild Awards this year, visit their site: producersguildawards.com.

Was Amour not eligable because it's foreign?

I guess 'production-wise' Skyfall was a good one, but I think there were other choices that could've/should've been given credence to instead. A little disappointing.

Solid picks in my opinion.
