Ben Stiller and Robin Williams

This past February, Fox had announced that Shawn Levy will direct Night at the Museum 3 for release on December 14th, 2014. Now the cast is getting rounded up with production slated to begin in February of 2013. As if there was any doubt, Ben Stiller will return as security guard Larry Daley, but we're still not sure what iconic museum he'll get caught up in this time, though the trade does reveal that the action is heading across the pond to London this time. In addition, THR has word that Robin Williams will reprise his franchise role as Teddy Roosevelt, which he played in the original film and Battle of the Smithsonian.

There are over 240 museums in London, but we're betting it's one of the more frequented tourist attractions that will get the spotlight. This will certainly mean new cast members to bring other museum attractions to life, but we're not sure if other cast members like Amy Adams, Bill Hader and Christopher Guest, all from the second film, will come back at all. With scripts from Thomas Lennon and Robert Ben Garant, these little adventures are actually mostly entertaining, and better than a lot of Levy's other family fare. Here's hoping he rounds up another great cast to make this worth watching next year.

Bring Jonah Hill back! He was the only good thing about the last one.

I thought the first one was a stupid idea, but what surprised. The second, to my memory, was a bit too wacky. I'm fine if they keep going, but I don't think the franchise has a whole ton of cred with most moviegoers.

I think these are pretty good family films. Although, yes, they are pretty dumb, I like that they feel like my childhood films, like JUMANJI.

If Amy Adams is back in the pants she wore in the last movie! Then hell yeah!
