"Put the lawyer, the wife and the boobs together and we know how to do it just as shady as he does." Well, this one looks like it's for the ladies. Rather than going the route of typical romantic comedies and having Cameron Diaz and Leslie Mann fight over the same man, this time they're teaming up against a two-timing player (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau of "Game of Thrones") in The Other Woman. And when they stumble upon the revelation that there's another woman (Kate Upton) he's been fooling around with, the plot thickens. Now it's all three women against one guy for revenge. It's better than the typical romance.
Here's the first trailer for Nick Cassavetes' The Other Woman, originally from Apple:
The Other Woman is directed by Nick Cassavetes (My Sister's Keeper, Alpha Dog, The Notebook) and written by Melissa Stack in her feature screenwriting debut. After discovering her boyfriend is married, a woman (Cameron Diaz) tries to get her ruined life back on track. But when she accidentally meets the wife (Leslie Mann) he’s been cheating on, she realizes they have much in common, and her sworn enemy becomes her greatest friend. When yet another affair is discovered (Kate Upton), all three women team up to plot mutual revenge on their cheating, lying, three-timing SOB. Nikolaj Coster-Waldau and Nicki Minaj also star in the film which 20th Century Fox will send to theaters everywhere April 25th, 2014. Funny?

It would be a nice twist if in the end Leslie Mann was playing the long revenge con on all of them. Maybe nailing Diaz's character in the embezzling scam as his lawyer and Upton for something else. Then she heads off into the sunset with Nikolaj Coster-Waldau's money and it turns out Eric Dane isn't really her brother but her boyfriend. Unfortunately it will just be some movie about girl power trumping stupid men and all the women ending up as besties.

Any film where both Kate Upton and Niki Minaj have speaking parts should be catapulted into space and never seen again. Seriously Hollywood......stop giving acting jobs to people who have no business acting.
