Everyone has odd family traditions, but the Parker family will do whatever it takes to keep their ancestral customs intact. The family seems wholesome from the outside, but they are commanded by an intimidating patriarch (Bill Sage). However, when an unexpected death in the family puts the fate of the family into the hands of Rose (Julia Garner) and Iris (Ambyr Childers) as authorities come closer to uncovering their dark secret, everything is at stake. The first trailer for We Are What We Are paints a quiet, creepy piece of horror that audiences haven't seen in awhile. Michael Parks & Kelly McGillis also star in the film. Watch!
Here's the first trailer for Jim Mickle's We Are What We Are, originally from IGN:
A seemingly wholesome family, the Parkers, have always kept to themselves, and for good reason. Behind closed doors, patriarch Frank rules his family with a rigorous ferver, determined to keep his ancestral customs intact at any cost. As a torrential rainstorm moves into the area, tragedy strikes and his daughters Iris and Rose are forced to assume responsibilities that extend beyond those of a typical family while the authorities uncover clues bringing them closer to the Parkers' secret. We Are What We Are is directed by Jim Mickle who wrote the script with Nick Damici which gets a limited release September 27th. Scary?

I saw this at Comic-Con. Wickedly strange story. Good watch.

Original had promise, but ultimately became nothing to write home about. Here's hoping good things for the remake...

Adverts before adverts!!!!! After watching a hair loss trailer, the actual trailer was quite good.

"There's a storm coming." Most overused line of dialogue ever!!! Argh! ... Trailer drips atmosphere. Looks good.
