Christoph Waltz Lands a Fatherly Job in 'Horrible Bosses 2' After All
When Star Trek lead Chris Pine joined the developing sequel Horrible Bosses 2, it was mentioned that Christoph Waltz was in the running to play his father, which would have made them a duo that steals an idea for an invention concocted by Jason Sudeikis, Charlie Day and Jason Bateman. However, the Inglourious Bastards and Django Unchained star thought that the offer wasn't good enough, especially since it was going to be a tight fit in his schedule. But now, THR reports Waltz was able to work out a deal, and he will have bad guy role in the film directed by Sean Anders, and produced by his writing partner John Morris.
In addition, the trade notes that Jennifer Aniston and Kevin Spacey are returning, with their deals closing today. At the end of the original film, Aniston was blackmailed by Day's character to stop sexually harassing him and Spacey was sent to prison for murder Colin Farrell's terrible boss character. We're not sure how involved they'll be in the sequel, but having them back should mess things up for the main trio in some capacity. We're wondering just how Motherfucker Jones (Jamie Foxx) will get involved with the plot this time as well. New Line is hoping to release the film in November of 2014. Stay tuned.
