Kung Fu Panda 3

It's been two years since the release of Kung Fu Panda 2, but fans eager to see Kung Fu Panda 3 will still have to wait a couple years for the next installment since it's not hitting theaters until late 2015. But the good news is that some great new voice actors are joining cast members Jack Black, Angelina Jolie, Seth Rogen, Lucy Liu, David Cross Jackie Chan and Dustin Hoffman. Heat Vision has word that "Breaking Bad" star Bryan Cranston, Casino Royale villain Mads Mikkelsen and Pitch Perfect scene stealer Rebel Wilson all have roles in the sequel from DreamWorks Animation, but there's no details yet.

As the end of the second film seemed to indicate (spoiler alert if you have seen it yet), the sequel will likely follow Po (Black) as he learns more about his past and his father who is still alive, living with a whole community of other pandas. The official logline doesn't give anything away other than it, "follows Po, the chosen one, as he continues on his journey mastering the art of Kung Fu … and noodle slurping.” If we had to guess, Mikkelsen would be the new villain, but we're not sure what Wilson and Cranston would be doing. Anyway, Jennifer Yuh Nelson, director of the second film, is back as director for the Christmas release on December 23rd, 2015. Honestly, this is one of my favorite animated franchise, so I'm excited. Agreed?

Love the franchise, but Rebel Wilson = no theater go. I'll wait for Redbox.

I'm sure it will be great again. The characters are much more expressive than most Dreamworks animation, and the action choreography (if you would call it that?) is incredible. Don't think I'd see it in theatres, though.

I still love the fact Rebel Wilson's name is "Rebel", even if it's just a pseudonym.

My daughter loved the movies which in turn has forced me to like them more than I already would have. It might even be the first movie I take her to theaters to see
