Danny Trejo Faces Mel Gibson's Soldiers in 'Machete Kills' Full Trailer

Machete Kills

"Noah had his ark. I got mine." After a fun little teaser introduced us to Machete Kills, and a "new" actor named Carlos Estevez, this new trailer gives him a little more screentime with all the crazy antics we've come to expect from a grindhouse-style, B-movie sequel in the hands of Robert Rodriguez. This full trailer also shows off Mel Gibson as a villain for the first time, clearly having a blast, and his "super soldier" army which includes Lady Gaga in disguise as Cuba Gooding Jr. , Sofia Vergara, Amber Heard, Vanessa Hudgens, Antonio Banderas and more. It seems like Danny Trejo vs. the World, but we hope a red band trailer comes soon so we get a better taste of this over-the-top silliness. Watch now.

Here's the new full trailer for Robert Rodriguez's Machete Kills from Open Road Films:

In the sequel Machete Kills, the seemingly invincible badass Mexican (Danny Trejo) is recruited by the U.S. government to help track down an arms dealer in Mexico who's looking to launch a weapon into space. The film from director Robert Rodriguez (Sin City, Spy Kids, The Faculty, Desperado) and writer Kyle Ward also features Amber Heard, Mel Gibson, Jessica Alba, Michelle Rodriguez, William Sadler, Charlie Sheen, Demián Bichir and more. Open Road Films releases the sequel in theaters on September 13th . Excited?

Wow... I feel dumber just having watched that crap. Robert Rodriguez is the most overrated turd maker ever.

I'm sorry but you have to judge a movie by it's goals. Machete's goal is to entertain by the basest common denominator. You can't act like this is unwatchable. It's well edited, it's funny, it's fun. That's what it's meant to be. Harkening back to the old grindhouse films.

And also be blatantly racist and pro border hopping as possible. Call it tongue in cheek all you like you cant deny the "whitey bad, minorities good" political undertones of the first movie.

I don't think you understand how racism works but that's ok. Also I'm guessing you're very white, are privileged and take what you have for granted but that's ok. You wouldn't have the nerve to say any of this to RR's face so you hide behind your keyboard. <3 your idiot brain so very much schnuckums.

Lol O Kento there you again with your bullshit, Im very white and have been on my own working my ass off since I was 13 but nice try. I would say it to Rodriguezs face 10 times over if I had the chance, the guy is a hack and couldnt direct a pile a dog shit into a bag. Im guessing your a very opinionated liberal douchebag who has never seen a day of hardwork in his life. I may be wrong, but at least I have the humility to realize I cant judge someone from one post on a fucking movie news forum board. You cant tell me you didnt see the blatant racism in the first machete and if you can then youve fallen into the ridiculous PC bullshit trap thats been fed into your brain the last 20 years.......schnuckums.

Who cares that RR couldn't direct his way out of a paper bag, look at Michelle Rodriguez. What a stallion.

I dig movies like this but sometimes they try just a bit too hard and I feel kind of short changed as a result, I hope this one isnt like that, so in the meantime... MACHETE!!!!!!!!

"tongue through cheek" is the perfect way to describe it...so intentionally cheesy and over the top. Seems like a good bit of fun. Alba seems like she is barely in this one....I wonder if she'll come down with a case of "Sudden sequel death syndrome"

I hope so. I really don't like her at all. She's always the weakest part of any movie I see her in.

I use to think that Michelle Rodriguez wasn't that hot, but after the first Machete and now this one, I've changed my mind!
