Briefly: Hooray! Edgar Wright fans, this August is going to be awesome. Wright has tweeted confirmation that his new film, The World's End, finishing his "Three Flavours Cornetto trilogy" started with Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz starring Simon Pegg and Nick Frost, will now be released two months earlier. Originally slated for late October, The World's End now has an August 23rd, 2013 release date, to round out the summer this year. Sounds great to me! In the film, five friends reunite in an attempt to top their epic pub crawl from 20 years earlier, but unwittingly become humankind's only hope for survival. The World's End will still be released in the UK on August 14th. I'm sure this means they've got big plans for Comic-Con.
