Emma Stone

Audiences will see Woody Allen's most recent film Blue Jasmine, starring Cate Blanchett, Alec Baldwin, Louis C.K. and many more, later this summer, but the director is unsurprisingly already prepping his next project. As with any of the director's projects that happen every single year, the title, plot and pretty much everything is being kept under tight wraps, but Deadline has learned that Emma Stone has landed the lead female role in the film that has been said to shoot in Spain and South of France this summer. This is just one more promising project for the lovely actress' very busy future slate over the next couple years. More below!

Stone has been working on The Amazing Spider-Man 2, but she might already be done shooting since she's already moved on to Alejandro Gonzalez Iñárritu's dark comedy Birdman starring Michael Keaton in a role that pokes fun at his superhero past as Batman. Stone will shoot Allen's movie after she's done with Birdman, and then she'll move on to Guillermo del Toro's Crimson Peak which starts filming early next year. These are all very promising projects, and it doesn't sound like Stone will be slowing down anytime soon. Thankfully, she's insanely talented and easy on the eyes, so we're fine with that.

Really? How can I fix it? I vehemently hate 3-nothing-glorious-about-it-D. Does that help?

Love Woody, he never stops. Sounds like a good project and maybe a new muse? 😉

I'm a great fan of Woody Allen, and this is a good casting choice, I still haven't seen From Rome With Love but dammit Midnight in Paris was just astonishing! It blew my mind(for the most part because it featured a lot of my likes and literary idols haha)
