"We have never seen anything like this… and we will never see anything like it again." Gotta love Caesar. Lionsgate has debuted the first official TV spot for The Hunger Games: Catching Fire online through Walmart. The new spot features the song "Atlas" by Coldplay, written for the movie, and already released in full online. It also features quite a bit of new footage that we haven't seen in the two fantastic trailers so far. Plenty of shot of Katniss (Jennifer Lawrence) talking with Gale (Liam Hemsworth), as well as tense moments with Peeta (Josh Hutcherson). I'm getting more and more excited to see this. "We're with you."
Here's the first full TV spot for Francis Lawrence's The Hunger Games: Catching Fire, via Walmart:
The Hunger Games: Catching Fire begins as Katniss Everdeen (Jennifer Lawrence) has returned home safe after winning the 74th Annual Hunger Games along with fellow tribute Peeta Mellark (Josh Hutcherson). Winning means that they must turn around and leave their family and close friends, embarking on a "Victor's Tour" of the districts. Along the way Katniss senses that a rebellion is simmering, but the Capitol is still very much in control as President Snow (Donald Sutherland) prepares the 75th Annual Hunger Games, a competition that could change Panem forever. Francis Lawrence directs the film written by Simon Beaufoy (Slumdog Millionaire) and Michael Arndt (Toy Story 3) arriving November 22nd this fall. See the trailer.
